MASA Celebrates 3 Years of Service & Existance

We’ve been doing this for 3 years!

Time really does fly when you’re having fun and working, and we can’t believe it’s already been three years since we started MASA.

Change of name

When we first setup the Organisation in November 2014 at the Vaal University of Technology, we chose ABSAS-Association of Business Strategy for Accounting Students. However as we’ve grown as an organisation and streamlined our services and our vision, we realised that we needed to change the name to something that would best suites who we really are, our mission & vision. This is where MASA came in, and we publicly changed our Organisations name in late 2015 to Management Accounting Students Association.

Team Players

We’ve had the privilege of working with some great and genuine leaders; Metsing, Venetia Maifadi, Philani, Bohang and other genuine leaders including Acting Head of Accounting Department by that time- S Venzke.

The everyday work life of most other teams is based on rules, procedures and instructions. Ours is based on trust, cooperation and support. Thanks for being such a wonderful team.
