Management Accounting Students Association
M.A.SA was founded and formed in November 2014 by a dedicated team of Cost and Management Accounting students/Graduates with the realization and concern that Management Accounting career field is not well recognized by most employers and as a result, employment opportunities for Management Accounting students are very scares. Our Mandate is not limited only on Management Accounting, but it goes to the extend of Internal Auditing and all Spheres of Finance and Accounting including Professional Accountants and Business Accountants.
It is also MASA’s Mandate to ensure that Matric Learners at High School make an informed decision on their subject choice and also to provide additional information to Students at Tertiary level about usefulness and other benefits of joining Professional body while still at Varsity/College. And it is at MASA’s intention to assist them in joining and registering with Professional Bodies of their choice.
Our function lies on the core Pillars as the route to achieve its goals; Uniting Finance and Accounting Students and Corporate World, Creation of Employment/Facilitate the transition between Institution of Higher Learning and Corporate world, Exposure of CMA and Entrepreneurship.
The idea was derived from the team’s passion for their career field. They bring to the organization a combination of education, dedication, skills and knowledge that they share and which should assure that they are highly successful in their positions.
Management Accounting Students Association is a 100% black owned Non Profit Company that was established for Graduates, Current Students upcoming Finance/Accounting generations, CMA/Finance/Accounting Alumni. Management Accounting Students Association’s head office is at Germiston Leondale and with one branch at Vaal University of Technology and currently under construction of branching at the Tshwane University of Technology, VUT Ekurhuleni Campus and Secunda Campus to be directly accessible to students.
